Why American Aerial Service?

American Aerial Services is known for quality workmanship and fair prices. For property owners and managers, general contractors, and anyone else needing our services in Maine, we’re not just an option; we’re the best option.

We know this not just because of the history we have, or the range of services we offer. We’re confident in our services because we’re confident in our people, who bring years’ worth of experience backed by rigorous certifications.

NCCCO Certification

Our operators are certified under the CCO Mobile Crane Operator certification program offered through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). This industry-developed program requires medical evaluation, written and practical exams, training in ethics, and compliance with NCCCO drug policy (which is one reason among many that our team is drug tested).

AISC Certification

Another important layer of training comes from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). AISC certification requires the development of QA and safety policies, a compliant training program, and safety training on a range of topics that includes PPE and fall protection. Our certification is maintained by passing frequent audits of our performance, procedures, and continuing education.

American Aerial Services offers people, services, and quality you can rely on, all at competitive rates. Give us a call to talk about your next building project or crane rental.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to our customers.

Railings

Railings ensure safety, and are vital for compliance with OSHA regulations and your insurance policies alike. Because those railings are often in client-facing areas, we ensure they’re as attractive as they are safe, whether we’re installing rails for a ramp, a pedestrian walkway, or a stairway. Other available installations include rails made of cord or galvanized cable, or custom stringers.

Stairs

Whether you need diamond tread stairs for added traction, or the versatility of pan and tread stairs, we can customize your project to your budget and needs by working in conjunction with your steel fabricator. We’re well-versed in regulatory, industry, and local code requirements, and have worked with renovations, refits, and new construction alike.

Steel Structures and Welding

Steel installation is time and resource intensive, with practically no room for error. We take time to understand the scope of your project and to plan carefully alongside your general contractor, fabricators, and other stakeholders, figuring out everything from a site survey to raw materials and equipment needed, delivery schedules, working time, and — finally — the installation itself.

Crane Rentals

A similar process takes place when you contact American Aerial Services for crane rentals. We begin by evaluating your needs and your job site, the better to recommend the proper equipment and mitigate against any potential hazards. We will further identify the rigging needed, order in any necessary extras, and educate your team about their roles and responsibilities while our work is taking place.
